  19. if u use some glass jars, do i leave the lid on? or leave it off
  20. im trying to make some greenwater. I took some water from one of my tanks when I was going a water change and put it in a bucket out in the sun. Its been ther for about 3days and ther is no difference to the water(besides a few bugs and a bumble bee have drowned in it.....)
  21. im not clued up by an means as im only just starting out with betta but... How I will set my betta up, is my main betta(I have 2 breeding males) will each have thier own tank, which are 400 X 400 pretty much, planted, substrate, heater and spongefilter so they have a nice home. The offsping males I am not keeping will be jarred/hung in my other tanks until ready to go to there new homes so it won't be a perminent thing here, but may end up being jarred in thier new home anyway as I am a small betta breeder and only currently have 2 boys..... I don't "like" having to keep them in jars etc, but for alot of people they can't actually have a tank for each male betta, especially if you have say 400 fry, 250 or more of those are male! Lol....
