Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone is coming from CHCH to Dunedin anytime soon that would be willing to pick up a box of Chooks from Belfast and bring to dunedin
Or if someone could pick them up and take them 2 mc dowall's transport as they can bring them to me if no one is going south!
Hope someone can help!!
Cheers!
Amy :bounce:
ohh, i need some blue&kim!
How much are you selling them for?
I have the long type ones, and 1 of those round grey ones, the ones luke discribed are by far the best! So I want to replace all mine with the grey ones now!
I need about 5 smaller ones and 1 of the big ones.
the mother of the fry just passed away
how sad....my favourite pair are gone
Tried to take some photo's of the fry but the camera wnt focus..so will have to take some in a week or 2 when ther abit bigger.
they currently in a 40L
ther are about 4 that iv seen that are much smaller compaired to the others.
Do you Cull the smaller ones? I heard the the siblings may eat the smallest, I was thinking of leaving them and let it be survival of the fittest?
the little fry are doing well! I can see thier fins etc now! They so cute! they are big and fat now! though ther are some really small ones in ther too.
Agreed, dnt touch them, I left them be. I just had a perfect spawn of 100+ fry hatched! It is very hard not 2 fiddle when you don't think something is right, I dnt think ther was anything in this lot, yet most of the eggs hatched!!! :bounce:
No idea, 1 min he was totally fine, looking after his fry etc, he never left the nest always sitting under it, fantastic daddy!
Then when the fry started moving about more he just lay on the floor
My beautiful red/pink Siamese fighter crowntail male passed away last night
On the 2nd day after his fry hatched I removed him as he was lying on the floor alot on sat. I put him in his own little recovery tank and he continued to lay on the floor not interested in food or anything
He tryed hard to get to the surface so I moved him into a guppy breeder so he wouldnt have far to swim 2 take a breath
He passed away last night .....he seemed to use his last bit of strength to look after his babies....so I hope they live on, I am so excited to see what colours pop up!! :bounce: There are heaps more fry then i first though, 100+ even.
R.I.P little man!
YAY! Finally my first spawn! :bounce:
Daddy
Mommy
Should be some interesting coloured babies!
Here are a few of them, it wasnt a big spawn, but im quite happy about that
My green water....does this look green enough? its starting 2 smell abit funky
Hi all,
Just wondering you uses them?(the brine shrimp hatchery that attaches on the inside of ur fry tank releasing the bbs as they swim out.)
How do you find they work?
Im considering getting one for my fighter fry(when I get any!)
I will never cross breed these fighters, that is mad, it has taken people along time to get them as pure and nice as they are, why would I want to cross and as Ron said, produce rubbish that people don't want???
my pinky was unsuccessful, going to up his conditioning, how many times do you feed your breeding fighters?
At the moment my guy is getting bloodworms and brineshrimp 3 x a day? does he need more?
Mr blue and red was successful I think, so will wait and see if anything hatches
will keep everyone updated!!
