just how big do sharks get?and I hear loaches get to be big too but no one says how big. I like the idea of more fish tho Im a bit hesatant due to the population I have in there already

Seems that I have aquired a major headache after purchasing 2 plants from a local well known pet shop..... POND SNAILS ! Unfortunately as much as I want loaches I have about 400 BN in my 4ft tank which to me is just a tad over populated. (if anyone is keen on a couple of them let me know). How do I get rid of these pests and where do I get the stuff from coz of course this same shop has nothing to get rid of them with. Im guessing that is a small mercy that I dont have a cansiter filter yet to increase my issues.
