  1. i saw a tank of them in the UK when i was there they are very cool the guy put some meat in the tank while i was there so i could see them move and boy do they move as soon as the meat hit the surface they went nuts.

i thought one place up Napier way had a few not 100% sure on that though

  2. When I made the Classic Duckweed Error  I ended up taking the lids off the tank, trimming all the other plants so none of them were near the surface, and literally scooping out the weed until every last bit of it was gone! I just used a net, and threw all the duckweed out the nearest open window onto the garden!

Yep i did the same thing except it went in my silver dollars tank.

  3. I have just bagged up some peat from the ones i got of TM about 10-14 days ago

i will be keeping the bag in the fishroom which is about 28*c min but does sometimes go up to around 30*c with the lights on. How many weeks until i should wet the peat/eggs being stored at this temp?

These are the coolest killi that i have seen/kept

  4. hi welcome to the forum

    for whitespot you can

raise the temp up to about 30*c and it should clear in a few days

add a product called tonic it cures about 7 different things including whitespot but you will have to take the carbon out of your filter when adding chemicals as carbon removes chemicals from the water

  5. I will be honest ive done it before but only when i am 100% sure that the person has no phone keys wallet etc.. on them and would only do it to mates .

pretty much when we go to the pool and then they p around about the water is a bit too cold so they dont want to go in yet. or at the beach where one of us would grab the hands and another will grab their feet and we will carry them out as far as we can

I know the same would happen to me too and the person the person will laugh after so it is all good.

But we would never do it to someone we don't know
