i used to run a uv light on it before i do a water change..just to kill of any nasty parasite in nsw..and better water quality

i lost 2 firefish but the long nose butterfly is slowly recovering

what didnt work for you ...? it effect ur corals?> or the white spots remained on the fish?

i had no white spots on any fish this morning....absolutely nothing and after the instance..its covered with them

i brought 2 purple firefish 1 month ago i placed it in my tank....saw it once the next day and never saw it again no where to be seen

So today, we had 50 guest come over for a bbq...i was told this 6 year old tipped lemonade into my tank 3hrs after this drama i noticed all my fish had white spot.little dragons..i did a water change and 2 hours later eve more white spots...all the fish smoothered with them...anyone know of white spot cures which i can use with corals? and is hollywoods open tommorow? or does anyone have some cure i can buy off....thanks :evil:

a very nice stag....

you can survive with an external filter with carbon and sponge in it...but if you do have other livestock...ie corals then i would recommend a skimmer

thanks...just using..some iodine and strotium a protein skimmer..and compacts...more soft corals will go in next week..will post pics ...

I have two GSP...they were once brackish...i started them off in a 30L tank then they are now full marine.100l ..but they are very aggresive ...i was told by hollwood they can fight...its only share chance if they are compatible with eachother...and they do have a nip at everything...

how much carbon are using at the moment? as i have read some forums can bleach acros whith a combination of extensive lighting and carbon use
