dont bother wasting your money on the paste just use ceelon tape when putting on use a junior hacksaw to scratch the thread(drag the blade down the thread to roughen the thread) this helps so when you the screw the fitting on it wont wind the tape down the thread, when putting on tape always start at end of thread and work back, dont use hemp it seals a lot better than ceelon tape but cant be used on plastic when hemp gets wet it sweels up to stop the leak so with plastic fitting it crushes and cracks the fitting

so what is the recommended dose? by reading what you have quoted there is no recomended dose, if you dont like the product dont use it dont go around saying it is s@@t the manufacturers obviously have spent alot of time and money trailling it

heat pump water cyclinders not that dare but are very big and ugly gas rinnai infinitys way to go only pay for what u use, solar dont bother wasting your money , have turtle tank small marine tank about 80 to 100 per month just setting up 4 foot tank so will see what happens house is 100 years old heater goes nearly all day

dont muck around with egg crate go to local plumbing store and get terminal vent cage to fit your pipe size ,cant block this up and just pushes on end of pipe
