  1. Here are a few of our fish... Copadichromis (formerlly Haplochromis) M'Lotto "Yellow Princess" Aulonocara sp. Mozambique.... Aulonocara sp. "Tangerine" This is a Aulonocara sp. "Turkis" AKA turquoise peacock. Still somewhat rare. This is a sub adult male just starting to color up. He is a offspring of my breeders. Here's a pic of one of my frontosa (F1 Burundi 6 stripe) Lamprologus ocellatus "Gold" one of many Tanganyikan shelldwellers Lamprologus ocellatus "blue" Heros appendiculatum "turquoise severum".... Male Jack Dempsey... Well, I think that will do it fore now. If anyone would like to see some more just let me know and I'll be happy to post some. CM
  2. Thought some might like to see a few of our racks/Tanks... These are the racks holding our 15 gallon tanks. These tanks are used as grow out tanks and holding tanks for smaller imported fish. The bottom row still has tanks to be set up.... These racks hold 20 longs on the top and middle rows and 29 gallon tanks on the bottom. Again these are used as holding tanks for imported fish... Racks of 70/90 gallon holding tanks. Bottom middle tank had a seam give out so I took it apart and will resilicone it (when time permits). Racks of 120 gallon tanks. The end tank is on back order which is taking forever to come in!! Well that's it!! I still have to take pics of the rest of our Racks/Tanks. As soon as I have more pics I will be happy to post them. CM
  3. Currently I have one male front around 12" in size. This is a family "pet" I have imported wild Mpimbwe blues in the past. I recently recieved an updated list from African Diving Ltd. and there are quite a few frontosa species available just don't know when or if I'll be bringing any in. When I brought in the order of Mpimbwe I went large with the order...little did I know the demand for them crashed shortly afterwards. I was stuck holding most of them for over a year prior to selling the last group. Fronts are a funny thing in retail...either they sell like hotcakes or they don't!! No inbetween. CM
  4. Actually we run it out of our house. All the tanks are in our basement. Glad to be here and as I said, I hope I can help out!! CM

    Hi All,

Hi everyone, My name is Larry - AKA cichlidmaster or CM for short. My wife and I maintain 135 tanks totalling 3000 gallons and own and operate Cichlidmaster Cichlids in Detroit, Michigan USA. We import and breed cichlids from Lake Malawi and Tanganyika. I have been in the hobby 20+ years and my wife and I have been importing and breeding for the last 10 years. Looks like a nice board and hope I can help out some!! Bye for now.... CM
