  1. Thanks. This makes sense as the father of the same colour developed this pigmentation also.
  2. Would someone be able to shine a little light on why this male guppy has this red mark? Is it due to stress? As the mark has not always been there.
  3. The first blue is second generation, a strike of good luck, as we have only had the tank a year & a half and no real birth control method. :-? Unfortunately most of the other fry he came with had a lot of yellow and were given away. We are novices learning as we progress, many mixed colours (motley crew). The black delta was care of LFS, and has some young coming through. Hope to progess further with blues. shiuh - Great to see another Architecture Student out there in the fish world.
  4. the top two are our favorites!!! some wires got crossed on this last one (offspring)
  5. When ever I have guppies that turn out like this... My partner and I refer to them as part of the 'Mottley Crew'. We have had all sorts, guess thats what happens when you take on new females that happen to be pregnant!!
  6. I am looking to purchase some BLUE guppies for breeding, preferably a breeding trio. Currently have light blue guppies but the strain appears to be quite weak, as yellows constantly come up trumps. Also just curious if anyone is breeding Blue Moscow Guppies or similar in NZ?
