hope you are gaining with the Co2, I run the co2 through a solenoid valve that I have connected to the timer for the lights. open when the lights come on. I have it on all day say 7.00am to 6.00pm when the lights switch off, ( valve closed ) the air pump is timed to come on and stays on all night. The water is Co2 saturated all day, the plants and fish thrive, its a major pruning the plants it has to be done every 3 weeks or so or they block out the light. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you have the same problem I have, I,m moving shortly and I am contemplating what to do with my fish, I have several tanks but mainly. 2 x 8ft tanks with only 6 fish in them 2 Arowanas an Oscar and a Pleco in one and Arowana and Gourami in the other, when I started out things wern,t meant to get this far. Theyre addictive.

When I work out how to post a picture I,ll show you, He shares his tank with a Giant Gourami they seem to get on OK the Gourami is sometimes a little off its food aswell.

Hi Thanks for the reply you could be on to something there, how old is your one? I moved a smaller one from his tank about a month ago he didn,t really like sharing his space, I have another bigger one that is only just 3 years old this one is a ravenous eater anything and everything It will be good to see if this one behaves the same way.

Hi Jason He,s probably 600 / 650 long and at least 100 deep, I,ve had him for 3 years and he was getting to that size then, when hungry he will eat 3 to 4 good sized fishbait pilchards in one sitting,

Hi to everyone, I have an old Silver Arowana that wont eat, he did this to me last year, went for about 3 months without a thing, now he,s doing it again it gets a bit worrying at times, does anyone know if this is an Arowana Trait, or am I missing something, any help would be great.
