Hey guys, I am in the process of creating a guppy resource website, which will have all the different variations documented as well as articles, forums and the like available. It will be an international website, not just an NZ one. I need the following information from those who are willing to help out. I need clear, quality photos or videos of all different guppy types/strains/patterns/tail types. Please email me on [email protected] with the following information as well as your photos/videos as an attachment. You can send multiple attachments within one email. Photos will have credit on the bottom of the photo. Attachment name Guppy Tail Type Guppy Pattern Guppy Colour Any information on the genetics behind it What credit you'd like on the bottom of the photo Any articles anyone would be willing to submit would be greatly appreciated. This can be on guppies, genetics, or general fish keeping. Also looking for a large clear image of several guppies for the home page.

Prefer colours black, blue, white, green, purple or variants of these colours. Not wanting yellow/red/orange colours.

Prefer GBA but open to any colour.

Hi guys, I have owned many different setups in the past but never have had experience with sumps. Now I wish to have a sump setup on my 190 x 47 x 46 tank.It does have a glass overflow built onto the back (making the total width 60cm, only the tank itself is 47cm) but there are no holes drilled into it or anything. Is drilling a requirement for drain pipe or would there be some other way to get the water into the sump? I don't think I'd be confident with that, I'd probably pay someone to do it. Also what sort of media would be best for a tank which may have some easy corals (t5 lighting only)? Are baffles really needed? I am an extreme newbie to sumps, and a bit paranoid that I'll do it all wrong and have flooding, so there'll probably be HEAPS of questions. We're in the process of designing a stand to be built for it, so want to get sump design sorted so I'll know what I'll need to alter with the stand also. Thanks for any help!

Has been sitting, so bit dusty. Can see both tanks here, as you can see there is an overflow bit on the back but that's not drilled or anything.

I have a large tank here with no stand, measuring at 160 x 50 x 50cm. I would be keen to swap for a shorter tank and stand unit (though no less than 120cm long). Would anyone be keen to do a deal like this? Otherwise may just sell it and buy what I want. Thought someone could be keen for an upgrade however Can thrown in the small tank I was going to use as sump (can't locate my tape measure, but believe it's about 90 x 30 x 30cm). Pick up only Papakura

Oh okay I don't mind going for t5s. What LEDs are usually the recommended ones for corals? The world of LEDs are new to me aside from the ones on my car lol

Was thinking of going FOWLR but now debating keeping some easy reef stuffs. I have been out of the scene for a while and now it looks like LEDs are the "thing". I was debating going with a T5 unit until I read up on LED stuffs. Now if wanted to make my own unit, what LED strips should I go for? I saw in another thread was recommended white cold 5050 for plants with 60 LED per meter (I think off the top of my head). Would this also be appropriate for what I need? Pictures of your setups would be awesome too Thanks for any help!

So watching Tanked, and they have some awesome fake display pieces in their tank that looks real. What ideas have you guys got to pull off something similar?

Hi guys, Purchasing a new tank, hoping to make it a reef setup one day (will be a slow project as don't want to set up till buy our own place, though this will be in the next year hopefully, just wishing to build the bits and pieces till then). Tank is 190x46x46cm. 1) Tank has two overflows, one at either end, how is this system set up or is it best to only have one? (Never seen a sump system with two overflows before). 2) Best size tank for sump? 3) What sort of submersible pump would I be best to get? Any diagrams or the like would be most appreciated

Hi guys, Have PM'd Barrie but no reply as of yet. We need a glass bottom for our tanks cut. The front is curved. If you could let me know of anyone who has the glass and can cut it for us, that'd be fantastic.

Male's crowning needs work but that's the joy of breeding, to improve each subsequent generation He wouldn't keep still this is the only decent one I got. Fingers crossed for a successful spawn

Anyone got this tail type of Betta? Pictures? Dunno if anyone remembers me but I used to breed crowntails Getting back into it now. I achieved my goal of pure royal blue crowntails with good finnage and then with moving and such, I got out of it. Now years later, stable again, I want to improve the finnage of the crowntails about when are usually based on veiltails, getting back to the half moon spread but in crowning as well. Will take me a while again, mainly looking at the black variants in colour. But I like the look of the in between stage (Half suns) as well. Hopefully I made sense there

Hey guys, You could consider me back in a sense. I sold all my fish stuff, including my big tank, as was moving and didn't have time with studying. But now I'm not studying, and I'm moving to a bigger place, I desperately want fish again. So I guess I'll have to start again which kind of sucks, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. I haven't even got a tank yet so I'll be lurking more than anything but I will be hanging about. I want puffers again, I saw a porc. puffer at Hollywoods, and didn't think you could buy them here. We were in there buying a book for my partner's brother for Xmas, as apparently he's a fishie as well. And well, seeing that puffer made everything come back. I said I wanted an aquarium again when we moved somewhere with room, but never really truly thought about it till I saw that cute little porky! So, good to be back, and I'll be keeping my eye out for nice 1.2m long tanks I think my 2.2m would have been a bit unmanageable anyway had I ever got it up and running haha. Jasmine

Problem is when I say large tank I mean large tank. So I'd want to be absolutely certain the stand will hold the volume of water and weight, and have some come back if it doesn't. For a 7 footer.

Anyone got any recommendations for aquarium stand makers? Preferably metal for a large tank. Thanks
