Cheers Tanksman, no your not responsible , Un-named LFS. Another LFS squash their's up too, apparently neons love them. If you have a spare day or two you might like to become head squasher
Probably best to borrow the Angelicus - $29.50 each
Hi Caper,
Refer my original question regarding the effects of snails on breeding. I have no feeling towards them one way or another but the tank is absolutely swarming with them. I have now introduced an Angelicus loach who only 10 mins later was chomping down on them.
Cheers
Sorry have no idea what sort of snail, at this stage they would only be 1 or 2mm in size but they are everywhere. Did a gravel clean last night and probably sucked up at least 100
My two tanks are now infested with small snails. I have been trying unsuccessfully to breed two pair of Kribensis who have made their home in upturned flower pots. . Would the snails possibly eat any eggs laid or if present inside the pots, prevent the Kribs from spawning?
I bought what was said to be Cabomba from the LFS. I have however been given some Ambulia since. They both look identical to me!!
Which either one it is, it grows unbelievably fast.
How do I identify either/or?
Ricci back to it's best, might be able to sell you some shortly
New filter would work fine, if I had it  Waiting over a week now for it to arrive.
I spend 4 or 5 days a fortnight away from home so was just interested in others thoughts on them. General consensus it seems though, is that you can leave off feeding for at least a week.
Nothing, until it pulls away from the glass and then  ring the insurance company. The adhesion value of some silicones are not great as far as water is concerned.
I have made my own cabinet and hood out of customwood. The hood is obviously slightly bigger than the tank and sits on a chock in each corner.
However from experience ensure you have enough clearance to accomodate different flouro. sizes and ensure that the underside of the hood is primed and painted, esp. with customwood.
Thanks Tanksman, perhaps you might like to invest in another air pump now that I have a new powerhead.
Ricci is doing fine, just a little pale with all the washing!
Worms ok?
Thanks guys, was just a little concerned with the oxygen depletion without surface agitation but will take all advise onboard. OK so I now have an airpump for sale?
