I have just bought an ocean tang from jansens. It was about 8 inches long and was $49. Before, I was at hollywoods, They had one that was 2 inches for $200. Also Hollywoods had a 3inch panther grouper for $100 and jansens had a 1 foot long one for $75. And these prices are from a week ago.

I have had good expeniences at Jansens but with all large store it does depend on the staff.

Hollywoods in Auckland would NOT sell me a Blue Tang for my 200 litre tank due to long term problems and my skill level.

Now when your waving $99 at someone when your from Hamilton and walk out with nothing thats good practice.

At the moment, the jansens store on mt eden rd (auckland) has got a medium sailfin tang down to $69 from $170. The also had a really large dog faced puffer for only $120.

Perky sorry to correct you but the sailfin tang is $69 down from $99

And the dog face puffer is sold

But most of the pricing we have is really really good at the moment.

Do you work there? What fish could you put into a 55g reef that you have in stock? Prices?

We have centropyges, clowns, blenys all suitable depending on what fish you have starting from $39 the best thing is to come in and talk to us.

Perky, Don't be too quick to leap in & get the big fish. You will not get many in your tank, and possibly more issues with aggression also. Go small.
