We are from Paraparaumu Beach and are members of the Wellington Aquarium and Water Garden Society, joining eight years ago. Since jbecominng members we were elected to the committee and I have been President for the last three years and Rex is now the Treasurer.

We keep Tropical fish, have a goldfish pond 2.1m x 2.7m and a turtle pond 2m square. We have 5 female and one male turtle, and two years ago succedded in breeding the turtles, we had seven aggs laid and six live hatchlings.

    breeding turtles is so much fun and they are so cute when they are just born, i miss breeding them, i dont miss the work in looking after lots of turtles but.
