Morpheous
Hi, I found a nice big piece of driftwood the other day on the beach for my tank. Normally I would just boil it in a big pot to sterilise it and get rid of any salt in it. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas how I could do this ?, as my drift wood is about a metre long and I don't have any thing that big to use. Do I even need to sterilise it or can i just get away with giving it a good scrub ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks
Caryl
This has been answered before. I just hose mine down thoroughly and give it a scrub with a nail brush, using an old toothbrush to get into small cracks and crevises.
Luke*
Boil a full jug and pour it over it. This will kill any nasties. HTH
