Ash T
We've got a setup and 2 adult turtles (1M and 1F), that have laid eggs before, but didnt hatch when we put them in sand, and other few she got to them before we noticed them Filter is a Fluval 204, tank is about 90Lx30Wx50Hcm with a shelf. Has a turtle light. Couple tins of food. Also has a stand. They probably could do with a larger tank or indoor/outdoor encloser. Fancy a drive up to Christchurch to pick it all up, myloni ??? If not, anyone in ChCh interested ??? $500 021 258 7647
birdwoman
I had them years ago and the best bit of advice I can give is make sure you have a good filter!!! Turtles can make a big mess!!
fishboi
get the biggest tank and filter u can afford that would save u to having to up grade later on cuz u definitely will. filter u want nothing but a canister filter. subtract is not pessary and if u are goin to have it make sure its too big for them to eat as they will which can cause problem. heater and light are debatable i've bought them up using both and none and neither one is better than the other. the ones bought up with out light and heater are more active even during winter and the ones bought up with are in a semi hibernating state during winter. hope that helps
