jude
I want to use aquatic clay in my new large tank but I hate the mess it makes. I've decided to plant most of the plants in pots and to have the clay in the pots BUT - I need the holey aquatic pots so the plant roots can spread AND I need a way of keeping the clay in! I decided to use sphagnum moss to line the pots with and have purchased some but now I am wondering if it will be ok in a tank? Any ideas anyone? cesarz
Is the sphagnum moss live or the dry ones? The dry tends to buffer the water down to pH 6, the live ones doesn't affect pH much.
jude
I guess its dried - came in a little compressed brick
livebearer_breeder
On a slightly unrelated topic, because i am no expert at plants and simply can't help lol but I got a bunch of those "holey aquatic pots" that i bought plants in over the ages, if you want them.
