fishboi
WOW very cool looking fish. sorry cant help u with any info never seen them before but i would assume they are brackish same as bumblebee?
HandS
It says here "Found in fresh and brackish water in the lower courses of rivers" so i would assume that if they are found in fresh water, then they will be fine in a fresh water aquarium. they have turned out to be very sociable fish, schooling tightly, and always at the front of the glass, cant wait to feed them some blood worms 8)
fishboi
they sound like very interesting fish. what size are they at the moment?
HandS
I would think they are at maximum, 2.5-3.5 cm's, and we think we have a mixture of male and females, as there is a definite difference in the dorsal fin shape
davidb
it says on http://filaman.ifm-geomar.de/Summary/Sp ... hp?id=3845 that these fish are brackish/reef associated fish. I dunno what it means by that- as you say they are fresh/brackish fish... They do have a high resilience so see how it goes
