herefishiefishie
I would say it is just a case of the move to a new tank. A number of factors, new tank, caves, different fish, surroundings, slight difference in temp, ph..... Frenchy

Kim&Dan
I thought that the males of the Melanochromis Auratus usually turn dark? We have a pair of them and I thought the male was the much darker one with the little yellow spot on the bottom fin and the male is the yellow lighter one? Tiden
The female can change colours as well sometimes. But usually it will be just the male that will change.
