sharn Posted July 18, 2006 Report Share Posted July 18, 2006 ohhh, you have white substrates huh? fish will often try to camoflage with their surroundings so its probably what your seeing here. fish will lighten to try blend in to lighter substrates and vice verca. as long as hes acting find and eating ok i wouldnt worry about it, not sure if its stressful for them trying to camoflage or not though? Krissie Posted July 18, 2006 Report Share Posted July 18, 2006 I hope he's ok, but just incase he gets sickly, i reccomend a 'google' search on 'columnaris'. It sometimes starts as a pale spot on the head area, which later gets white with red edges. Just lost a fish to this myself so i am researching all i can find on the topic.
