cracker
One very heaped tablespoon raises my 1400 litre tank by 10ppm 1.2 kilos seems a lot for 800 litres. Start off by adding 4 heaped tablespoons and re test. DONT ADD ANY MORE THAN THIS OVER A 24 HOUR PERIOD.
tel
is this because the med chem is alot purer than allowed for in the calculator?

cracker
is this because the med chem is alot purer than allowed for in the calculator? Not sure, just be careful not to chuck too much in at once.
puttputt
sounds about right, had to put over a kilo in mine, but crackers right, add it slowly, I chucked about 400g in and the corals reacted badly, slimed up and withdrew there ployps for a couple of days.
