Use a coke bottle with its bottom cut off and about 1 1/2 tablespoons of rock salt. Keep it at about 26°C for 24 hours. Hatching Brine Shrimp For most of my young fish i now use decapsulated bbs. (no hatching needed )

x matt x
Yeah a 1.5 litre coke bottle. To keep the temp at 26°C you can put a light bulb next to the bottle or put the bottle in a heated tank.
shiuh
hey matt by using decapsulated bbs does this means the bbs is dead?
ryanjury
I find the easiest way to do it is to use a 2 litre ice cream container half to 2/3 fill it with warm water and disolve about a tablespoon of rock salt (from the supermarket) in it. Stick however many eggs you want in (usually just a tiny amount) and stick it in the hot water cupboard... When you want to harvest them use a torch at one side for a while and then shyphon or use an eyedropper to get them out and sift them through a stocking. x matt x
hey matt by using decapsulated bbs does this means the bbs is dead? You can get non-hatching (dead) and hatching (live) decapsulated bbs. I use non-hatching.
