Rozski
Not exciting at all for all you old hands but I just started up a little (22L)tropical tank a few weeks ago and have 3 longfin zebra danios zipping around there happily. Well, got back from being away for 5 days tonight, fish still alive after being in my Mums care (all good). Just went back into the lounge to peek at my fish as there was algae floating around the tank earlier due to me cleaning it off the heater (will be water changing tomorrow, the filters already sucked it all up) and theres teeny little fry scooting around in there!! Oh the excitedness! LOL yes I realise my danios will probably eat them as soon as they see them, but I got to see them first! *bounces off to bed*

Caryl
It is always exciting to see fry in the tank, whether you had been trying to breed fish or they did it without asking I just discovered yet more electric yellow fry last night  . They are worse than rabbits!

Rozski
lol I don't really *want* babies either, it was just cool to see, and at least I know they arent stressed out to the max from the tank cycling if they're happy to spawn I'm not running round with buckets trying to save them all or anything ;-) Rather amusing to see an adventurous fry go up and stick itself to the side of the tank and then 3 seconds later papa goes by and gobbles bubs up It is like a love fest in the tank every morning when I turn the light on though haha
Faran
a lovin fishicide fest, that is Well, when I see babies I feel it's showin that you have some happy fish in your tanks. Their way of sayin "thanks" BTW, if anyone sees any female Emperor Tetras for sale - TradeMe, shops, wherever, please let me know. I need at least 3 females and wouldn't mind making it a decent sized order if they have males as well.
