jude
I've got some Holdfast silicone. It says it fixes windscreens, motors, glass, silicone, showers ......................... etc etc etc. It doesn't say fishtank safe but it does include them in the list. Does anyone know if this one is safe to use? Cheers Jude

jude
It doesn't say 202 anywhere - just SiliconeU
Lucid
SiliconeU?? never heard of it, we stock and sell the 202 clear and you can't miss it as it has 202 down the front of the label, so not to sure whenther it would be safe or not. Have a look here and see if you can find it http://www.holdfast.co.nz/products/sealants/index.htm if you find it let me know as we might have it as something else and I might know the details for you. jude
Nope, can't find it there. The brand is Holdfast and Ian picked it up from New World today. It also says Soudal on the tube and I've been to their website and can't find it there either. The tube says SilconeU. The packaging says Silaseal RTV. Maybe its destined to remain a mystery ..........
Alan
Jude, it should have Acetic Cure on it somewhere, that is the smell like strong vinegar. It may have Neautral Cure, this is bad, bad. If it has got that. DON'T USE IT Alan
