Still think I'm safe! :P

Women are strange creatures! A few years ago when having a mobile phone was still something special, she kicks up wanting one. So I get her one, she uses it for a few weeks then chucks it in the car glovebox & has barely looked at it since! I don't even try ringing her on it the call will invariably go unanswered.

Lucky she doesn't read the fish forum either! :D

I'm planning on paying an extra $30 a month in power to keep my flatmates happy :D:D

Yea I'm paying an extra $20. I recon that should cover it.

Are you running MH at the moment?

No, not at the moment going to pick it up this week some time. I have been watching him and so far so good.

If it dies and you don't see and remove it quickly it could cause big problems.

I learned this the hard way about 2 years ago, when I first started keeping marines, not cool.

Do you know what type it is? If you do some one might be able to tell you if your water parameters and light are going to be a problem.

Again, not sure but I'll try and find out, prob post more pics towards the end of the week

Well, I think its about time I showed some more updated pics of my tank.

Since last time I have aquired 3x 150W MH's but I only have 1 over the tank at the moment. I am going to use the others when I upgrade, which has been delayed untill next year due to moving back home with my parents over summer. Also gives me time to save up for some propper equipment..a good skimmer especially. I already have the tank 1200Lx500Wx450H (in mm) and stand :D .

Sorry about pic qualities, I don't know anyone with a decent camera I can borrow.

A full front shot of the tank.

Zoomed in a bit on the right hand side of the tank.

My hammer. It's usually open to about double the size.

One of my leathers. All of them have recently really started growing quite well :) . Still having anemone problems (top center), lost all of its tenticles  . I've kinnda given up on it, but my clowns still like it. They sleep next to it at night and hang around it durning they day from time to time.

My staghorn has also been doing really well lately. It's hard to see in the pic but it has started turn a real nice green colour and its tips are starting to branch :D.

My clam! Its got awesome colour and seems to be doing really well. Wasn't really expecting much when I bought it.

net8.jpg

My sleeper goby. Man he's cool! He's doing really well despite people telling me I'd probably have issues with him.

And finally, not saltwater but here is a poor picture of our flats baby fire-bellied newts :D .

Hi i found for an unwell anemone frozen mussel great. Grab some live ones from your local super and place on the bench when you get home and wait untill they start to open. Then breack them open scoop out of shell place in a bag and freeze. Theory is freezing kills any Parasites or lurgies that may be there. Once frozen cut of a peice about the size of your fingernail and feed. Mine love it
