wasp
I don't know Fay but he is so ugly he is in fact cute! I don't know anything why he has gone like that but I'll bet it's something like signaling other fish, mating time, or whatever. I'll bet he'll be fine. Keep updated though, very interesting!
Ira
I think there's a lawnmower blenny and a bicolor blenny somewhere that have some serious explaining to do!

trinity
My Lawnmower looked similar to that for a short period of time. When I had the Black Surgeon, It was chasing the lawnmower and he stayed partially hidden in the rocks (only his head and upper body were coloured). Once I got rid of the surgeon his colour slowly started changing and he was back to sunbathing out in the open. Not sure if this is the same colouring your Lawnmower has Fay, but looks pretty similar. My lawnmowers favourite spot is bathing under the branches of the hammer
Fay
Yes mine sits half in and half out of the cave I made for him waiting for food he is an utter pig for food did you notice his tummy in the first photo. He is in the cube tank and get on really well with the Clarks Clowns the only other fish in the tank, him and boy Clark sit together Anyhow I think that is why his bottom half has changed (he looks silly)
Mark
Maybe that is his camouflage the back half for the inside of the cave and the front half for the surrounding rock. One of those will be my next fish just one colour will do though.
