donahb
Hi everyone How can you tell the wattage of a heater? I am about to set up a tank and have a heater not sure of the brand - has a green rubber seal at the top? and can't seem to see on it what wattage it is? Ira
If it doesn't say on it, then there really isn't any way to tell...I suppose you could throw it in a bucket of water, turn it up really high and try to calculate it from the rate of increase in the water temp...But, it should say on the heater somewhere.
