FisH_CrazY07
hi my guppy had her fry a few weeks ago, can i breed with this lot again or will the fry be deformed? like can two guppies from the same mother breed together?
Cyberfin
I haven't noticed any higher rate of deformity than the odd one or two that nature would produce anyway. Might become an issue after a few more generations maybe but I've never tested the theory. I think they're a bit like mice; if they find an mature member of the opposite sex, then all criteria are met.
fishboi
yep they will just keep on breeding and breeding and breeding and ....... ur unlikely to see any deformity from inbreeding for a few generations as line breeding is pretty much inbreeding for the right colour and pattern. when left in a well planted tank ur soon find ur self with 100s of these guys and just drop new a male or female in every now and then to keep up the multi colouration that's if ur just having them in a community tank.
