TM
there should bbe two or four holes at the base of each cap, you should be able to push the wire thru, and it will lock in place. Or Is there a cover you can take off????
chimera
yeah holes in the bottom - so ya just push a wire in there and it will stay???
TM
yip, as long as you use the correct wire, single core or strand, not the stuff with lots of little wires. you will find you will need to strip back to about 6mm, then push in, they are self locking. if they still pull out, you may have to strip the wire back more or its the wrong size wire. DiverJohn
Spot on TM - it took me ages to figure it out  If you are using (or been forced to use) fine "multi strand wire" you could do what they did on my aqua one light and put some solder on the bare wire
jetskisteve
Course u could drop them at an electricians & leave them there a year or

DiverJohn
Dunno, give it a go, it might, if it doesnt then a bit of solder will fix it.
TM
would not just twisting the wires together be enough? be carefull doing that, you want to be sure all the strands are in, you may find it works loose after a while.
SteveA
would not just twisting the wires together be enough? No, the mechanism that grips them is just as likely to cut fine strands which will lead to the wire falling out and/or fine bits of copper wire floating about. slappers
use the solid copper wire if its not a good fit it will start to ark get hot and then fire fire do it once do it right when it comes to electrical
