Sharkey
How long has it happened? Any new inhabitants? Do you have a Wrasse ? Goby ? There is a real danger of a sudden nutrient influx resulting in the strong growth of algae
Feelers
You should do some late night snooping. Quite a few fish like digging in the sand I think.
cracker
Very common in my tank. Damsels dig....crabs also. Pretty normal. Nothing to worry about except that you have to shovel it back!
warick hearn
it was the (bitch)Damsel....after I completly dismantled the tank and took all the rockwork out to clean...the tank needed a good cleanout after a year and a half....and I wanted to change the look of the tank....saw the yellow damsel flicking the sand with her tail.
