LYNDYLOO
Can any one tell me how common are Snowflake Bristlenose's, got one on Trade me I'm looking at. Auction says, the guy only knows of 2 others in the country and they came from him, which he has obviously breed himself. Any thoughts guys? evilknieval69
one person on this thread has said they have four and someone else had some too i think http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/what-p ... 11094.html so maybe not as rare as the person says
Tanksman
IMHO If someone is claiming the rarity of a fish on how much they paid for it in an LFS then they are deluded. It don't look that rare to me.
LYNDYLOO
Hmmmm, so not as rare as it is stated then.   Lynda
Faran
Hi Lynda, Let me assure you that the true snowflake bristlenose (as advertised by dorl on TradeMe) IS rare and not a common bristlenose at all. There are only a few in New Zealand and they were mostly imported or bred from the imported stock, not bought in a fish shop. I've seen the specimens advertised on TradeMe in person and I'd LOVE to buy some if I could afford them. So are you seriously thinking about getting some? Worth every penny, hope youcan breed them to get them out to more members! Blue
LYNDYLOO
Thanks for the info guys, Hmmm, not to sure about breeding them, then I would have to find another one to breed it with, but must admit I wouldn't mind having a go at it. Might have too have a wee think. :-? :-? :-? Cheers Lynda
