Got these Angel Fry that seem to be doing really well so far, not quite sure when to start feeding them, I have transfered them into the 2ft tank, some of them are free swimming and some are not, do I feed them now or do I wait for all of them to become free swimming? alot of them seem to be hanging around in a little bunch at the top of the tank and there are also some on the tank floor in bunches, any advice would be great.

What Peg means as free swimming, is FREE AS SWIMMING, not jumping up and down.

They will come right up off the bottom and swimin a group, normally.

Make sure that you have snails in with the babies when youstart your feeding regime.

Ok, well some are free swimming and some are not, so do I start feeding now or do I wait for all of them to become free swimming? It appears to me that they have used up most or all of their egg sac.

Help! I have no snails to help keep the tank clean, is this going to be a problem?

Wait to all the fry are free swimming before you start feeding.

Snails help but are not a must have, just make sure you clean

the stuff of the bottom of the tank and change the water daily.

I change about 30% daily and feed my fry bbs and microworm 3 to 5 times a day.

:)
