0pius
Found this article discussing the oxygen saturation in tanks and hypoxia. Very interesting http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-08/eb/index.php 0pius
skuzza
They never stop finding things for you to test do they.Have to build another shelf for the test kits and get another job to fund them.
0pius
How would you test for such a thing though. It is fine to do a paper on it but to make a test for the common joe would be impossible or would it. Do the experts ie reef, lduncan etc care to comment
lduncan
I believe that dissolved oxygen is tested with a probe (like pH is). The aquacontroller has an optional dissolved oxygen probe. Dunno how they work though, i've never really looked into it. I guess what's more important is even if you can test for it, what are you going to do about the results of the testing? How can you regulate the number you are getting using practical methods? Layton
