Matt
Hi all, My Large Amazon Sword flowered recently and is now producing it's first plantlet. Does anyone know what type of Sword it is or know of a plant ID site with actual photos rather than just drawings? alanmin4304
Looks like E osiris. Try plantgeek or Tropica.
Matt
Hi guys, Thanks for replying, after looking at the links I agree that it is E. Osiris. Cheers, Matt
alanmin4304
Don't do what I did and let the runner grow into the lid---snappedoff most of it and I only got a few plantlets.
Matt
Hi Alan, Thanks for the advice, turns out that I broke my fitted lid a month or so ago and have been using a piece of glass that is too long, so it sits on top of my tank leaving room for the runner to poke through. Cheers, Matt
Faran
Aww, really nice when they flower for yas. I have two E. Osiris that I'm raising from runner off-shoots. Will soon be moving them into my Amazon tank, as they're doing very well. Congrats on the runner, hope it doesn't break anytime soon. I assume you don't have cats?
