ryanjury
I found this on trademe while I was hunting for bargains, it sounds very odd to me thinking of golden barbs killing another fish or protecting eggs.. http://www.trademe.co.nz/STRUCTURE/AUCT ... tten=true&
stagger lee
That is def wierd. I kept my barbs with all sorts of 'community' fish including some of the shyer tetras and never had any probs ( i even had danios at one stage)... As for protecting eggs, i never seen such a thing. All the eggs were happily gobbled up
Caryl
Never seen my barbs protect their eggs or kill other fish either.

I was tempted to ask him if we were thinking of the same golden barbs..
