Brianemone
do frogs like salt??? i thought it was really bad (leathal) for them?
Alan
Frogs are super allergic to additions as you have added. The Males have the black pads, that is like a velcro patch used for holding female frogs while mating. Don't know the tech terms. The females don't have the pads. So guess you have a female ready to make more babies. How about sending some over to NZ?? We aren't allowed them here tho. So please ignore that request. By the way, if you here a lot of splashing around and croaking in the night, it won't be Santa swimming. It'll be the froggies having fun. vimmer
Oh man, I find Clawed frogs so entertaining, it's a little weird how they're purely aquatic though.. go visit them at a Zoo somewhere (we have them at Wgtn Zoo). Button, being 9months old is just approaching sexual maturity now. Buton looked like a 'he' is actually a 'she' and it's only becoming obvious now, but that's what Alan has said. casey05
hi motherofmany, found a page that might help you with your frog gender issue http://members.aol.com/sirchin/frog2.htm and read the paragraph and then read the bit where it says "For more information and photos on determining your frog's sex visit here" and it shows you the difference between the different genders.I dont know why he lost his black pads tho :-?
