DiverJohn
Not sure how they stand up to the salt water environment but i run one on my FW setup, and my bro' has one on his gold fish tank.. Work a treat.
Pies
I have one for freshwater. Its OK for what it is, WAY overpriced IMO. Not sure how it would go in saltwater, like most things with metal, not very well i would expect. Pie
chimera
i used one about 6 years ago on my freshwater tank. to be honest i dont like them. they use air to blow the food out (as it rotates). if the food is all the same size, not too much an issue but different size flakes they can block up the hole and you get different size feedings. plus if any moisture gets inside, the food sticks to the inside of the feeder. also a few times the timer got stuck on and it fed the whole tank the contents of the container. 2/
dogmatix
many of my clients use these on reefs going away for 3-4 weeks at a time the work vey well IMO
DiverJohn
but different size flakes they can block up the hole and you get different size feedings. Yes agree... feeding can be "random" if a bit of flake gets trapped in the opening. But i have never had one block completely. And usually sorts its self out next time around.. or the next. A uniform size granual works better than flake.

HelifaxNZ
I have a Fish Mate F14 which has a total of 14 meals. Found this to be good. Uses batteries to operate. Good for flake food, but not designed for wet stuff. Can plug in an air pump to help stop humidity and you can set it to have upto 4 meaks a day and have night feeding if required too. This was used on FW.
