martind
Hi all, Well im needing some help. I have a 3ft tank and also a hexagon tank (which I was about to sell!) Now i've just moved house on the weekend and transferred the existing fish I had( some small clown loaches, corys, cardinals, couple of blue rams)from the 3ft tank into the hex tank... Anyway for some reason my fish seem pretty happy in there...especially the clown loaches. So i've decided to keep it as is. So now I was thinking about changing the 3ft tank into a Cichlid tank. However im wanting it to be planted as well and from what i've read its not gonna happen if i want the plants to grow.... So my question is can I set up and tank with dwarf cichlids eg Rams, Cockatoo's, Kribs etc? will they got ok together and what numbers and dwarf cichlids would be suitable? Any ideas would be great....sorry about the long story!!! Thanks
Cath
How cool. I'm not sure about the dwarf cichlids all getting along together but I can't see why not however I know a planted tank looks great but I've seen some awesome Cichlid set ups using rocks and driftwood. Some of the sturdier grasses might work too.
