raeh1
I just got one and its fantastic but.... The only down side was the surface scum build up... So I got an old fluval surface skimmer and modifed it to fit.... Without damaging the deltec, on even a scratch. 5 minutes no surface scum.... fantastic and this makes a skimmer even more effeicent.... (spelt wrong) Check out the the pic.. (Dam I have to work out how to do it again)

suphew
I would suggest checking out other brands, I had a fluval surface skimmer and it gave no end of problems, worked alright for about 6 months then it must have gone brittle, bits started breaking, I was forever adjusting the amount of water it pulled in the top otherwise it would suck the floating top down. Have also heard of others with similar probs.
misnoma
I picked up an aquaclear one today, plumbed it in. It cleared the top of the tank okay, however it also seems to restrict the flow into the skimmer a whole lot, which I'm betting isn't so cool. More work required I think
