raeh1
I have just been given. A very sick looking anemone for free by the pet shop. (he gave me the usual warnings). I will take a photo tonight and get your opinions on whether you think he can be brought back to health. Its mouth is hanging open, and the sides seem flaky. (As yet I have not added to my tank. He is in a bowl, with only medium helide light on him). Your opinions on this would be valued
wasp
Tell us what species it is, and also some stuff re your tank ie salinity, flow, light. Sometimes these things can be saved. But also, a big one dieing in a tank can make quite a mess.
chimera
As yet I have not added to my tank. He is in a bowl, with only medium helide light on him give him some light/medium water movement/aeration

wasp
He will not make it under those conditions. At the least, you should privide a bigger container with at least one rock, some current via a small powerhead, clean water, and light. One way to keep the water clean would be to change from the tank once a day. Without all that his survival would be a miracle.
