debs01
How much water and how often? I have been doing regular changes about twice a week of around 20%, it that right?? :bounce:
Snowman
A lot of it depends on you stocking load, filtration and if you have live plants. Twice a week certainly won't hurt them, as long as the tank is cycled the water change is mainly to dilute nitrate, i do twice a week water changes to keep the phosphate levels down to stop BBA from taking off. Also a good opportunity to trim and replant cabomba, watersprite and ambulia in my tank.
Caryl
Whereas I rarely do water changes at all! Generally speaking, it is usually recommended you do 10% weekly or 20% fortnightly, but as said, it depends on your fish and stocking levels.
