misnoma Posted September 30, 2005 Report Share Posted September 30, 2005 Totally depends on what you're trying to achieve. 6800K is generally thought good for freshwater/plant growing 10000K seems to be what's generally thought of as standard for corals etc in a saltwater tank and 14000K is also used on marine tanks.. seems from what I've read it's not so good for corals, but people like the blue look That's the sense I've been able to make from reading things anyhows Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
