HandS
We have 2 and they are great pets, the best way to train them to feed from your hand is to give them treets like blood worms or ox heart from a feeding cone, so they learn that all the "good stuff" stays at the top. After a while (cupple of weeks) they will normally be first to the cone, then you start feeding with the hand. This has worked with both our bgk, and i hope it will work with others
klaymann
These guys are cool as .. just don't put neons with them .. once they get big enough they will suck the neons eyeballs out ... and who wants blind/bung eyed neons ... aye !! Snowman
LOL i don't think there is such a thing as cheap quarantine in NZ, black ghosts are pretty well priced in Auckland, saw 3 around the 150-200mm mark at Jansens and surprised me they were only $29.95 each which i thought was cheap compared to other smaller ones i've seen at some LFS for around the $40 mark, next tank will be for one
Nilocagain
I've had mine for 3 months and it is growing well with all the guppy fry it can eat and bloodworms as well. Never seen it eat flake but it is very active around feeding times
