hood.family
Hi Im new here and I have a question. We've had two turtles for around 3 or 4 years we got them as babys. I think theyre related & dont know their sexes but ones about a third bigger. My husband was cleaning out their tank today & found 5 eggs. 2 were underwater & 3 were on a rock. Do they still lay eggs even if they havnt bred? We didnt hybernate them or anything, never have. What do we do with the eggs? Im pretty clueless about this as they had been doing the same things since we got them & this is a bit out of the blue. Thanx in advance for any help. klaymann
The eggs wouldn't be viable being underwater or exposed to the outside temp , ... they need a deep warm sand bed to bury them in . you can find out more thru google .. the larger of the two sounds like a female if they are red ears ..
