Faran
Hi Lynda, Check this post that a member put up yesterday - http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/paradi ... t8239.html From his experience I'd avoid it. Always worth a shot though (with caution), I've seen tanks full of fish that just aren't supposed to get along!
LYNDYLOO
Thanks Alan, Blue and Kim for the info about the Paradise Fish, I saw these on Trade Me for $8 each and thought they looked like rather pretty fish, by the sounds of it looks can be deceiving aye, best I leave them well alone, dont want any harrassment going on in me tank. Thanks again Guys, Lynda.
deeveus
I had two who were in a cold tank. When I switched to tropical they were in the same tank, never had a problem with them being agressive towards other smaller fish, well not that I seen. Never had any drop in numbers either. I was also told by the shop that they are agressive so don't put anything like goldfish in with them, otherwise they would be smashed. All aside, I think if they start chomping and chasing other fish, remove them.
