chin168
Hi Luke, I buy my discus from Goldfish Pogoda in Pakuranga. This fish shop have the most discus. Looking for inported discus: Brooklands have some quality discus sometime only, but not cheap. Aquarius OK, discus small but not so expensive. Others ????? NZ breed, Ronnie have the best. Cheers
chin168
Hi Luke All the Turquoise in this page is breed by me. Cheers. Chin
Luke*
Discus Garden (3ft grow out tank, BB, 90% water change daily, supplemented with many plants help remove ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and urea) Also helps the discus feel at ease by providing some hiding places and flora to look at edit: Red Melon pair on right in their 'spawning corner', new Yellow Pigeons centre, small Red Tomato on left. chin168
Photo of this year 2006 Duisburg, Germany Grand Champion. Cheers.
Luke*
Hi notorious yea I think I've got 12 in there, I moved 4 melons to my large display tank (70cm high x 1m long) before adding the pigeons. No worries with the huge daily water changes. Sharn, yea it is more of a marlboro, I believe it's actually a marlboro/melon cross, Ronnie perhaps you can shed some light? Love the white markings. I don't usually like albino fish but those discus look cool. That German grand champ has incredible body pattern and is a massive size. The only things wrong are the eye (not consistently red right through or very bright) and the chin/mouth is a bit messed up. Oh just noticed the dorsal and forehead transition is also bumpy. But hey, I wouldn't complain if it was in my display tank.
