kbird
I bought what was said to be Cabomba from the LFS. I have however been given some Ambulia since. They both look identical to me!! Which either one it is, it grows unbelievably fast. How do I identify either/or?
jude
I think ballistic posted some good shots a while ago. I will try to find them Cheers Jude
jude
Here is ballistics post http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewtopic.php?t=4378 He has some very clear photos which show the difference. Cabomba leaves come off the stem in pairs, one either side of the stem. Ambulia leaves come off the stem in a circle of about 5. Hope that helps Cheers Jude
kbird
Cheers Jude, definitely Ambulia. Perhaps I should ask LFS now for Ambulia?
jude
LOL - don't do that. You'll probably get sold Indian fern. I've found a lot of LFS really don't know the plants Cheers Jude
