Caryl
The Dunedin Aquarium and Pond Society are holding their annual Tank Parade on Saturday, August 27th. They hope to have at least 10 venues to visit. If anyone is interested in attending this, and wanting more details as to start time and place etc, please contact Denise at The Pet Warehouse (03 477 7340) or Brian (03 453 5480). Grant and I will be travelling down to this. I know it is a 10 hour drive for us but gives us a weekend away and we get to meet other hobbyists and catch up with those we met the previous visit. 8) We go down on the Friday and home on Sunday. Always great fun. Perhaps those of you in Dunedin who do not belong to the club, or those of you in Invercargill and surrounding areas, would like to participate. It is a great way to meet like-minded people, get lots of advice, see different fish and plants (and possibly cadge a few) plus get new aquascaping ideas and stuff. Contact Denise or Brian now!! Caryl
Finally got around to editing the pics and uploading them into my Photobucket Albums. Enjoy... http://photobucket.com/albums/v144/cary ... rade%2005/ For those who like discus, check out Gordon's section Barry has a tank with large green severums which is set into a fireplace. Colin has very large clown loaches (the largest is 25cm). If you look at the pics you will realise the rest of his clowns aren't all that small either! Carl has some discus too and a black ghost knife fish, among other things. Paul had a marine set-up.
