chimera Posted July 11, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 11, 2005 to be fair, it wasnt that white looking when i bought it (I think the camera shot is a little deceiving) it was one from jetski's personal tank when he was selling off his corals. the colour is perhaps a little deceiving, it was a light pink however it is certainly pinker now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pies Posted July 11, 2005 Report Share Posted July 11, 2005 You can see the bleaching at the bottom of the coral. The top is just showing the typical low nuitrent look of 'wild' corals with just a thin dusting of colour. Introduction in the captive system its now going brown as the higer nutrients. At least thats what I think, its pretty typical behavior from corals that i've introduced into my own tank over the past we while.
