freshwest
Im keen to put together a co2 system . Have been using a diy yeast system but have found it to much trouble and to small for my 700 l tank. From what i have read you need a bottle , reg , needle valve , diffuser , bubble counter and maybe a valve to turn off co2 at night . The lfs want $1000 + for a system . Not sure were to go to buy all the bits or the prices .
buzzy
hi freshwest im in the same position as you but i dont have a diy co2, my lfs said its $700 for the bottle, reactor etc, and $1100 for the co2 control system on top of the bottle, is it cheaper to hire a bottle and buy needle valve, diffuser, bubble counter??even then the system is only rated upto 400l tanks,
DubbieBoy
Hi Buzzy, The Sera CO2 gear is pretty new to the market so there's not a lot of information around. It should be well constructed though. This thread may be of interest to you... http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewtopic.php?t=3589 - Dubb.
