PENEJANE
I am looking at getting some gear sorted for a 3ft tank and I was wanting to use sand. Will the bristlenose be ok with this? or will it be to difficult for it to clean? Its for a guppy breeding tank. No other fish.
CatBrat
I have kept and bred BN's using white river sand as a substrate. Just make sure the layer of sand is not too deep or it could compact, and cause pockets of gas, which are bad for fish. Cheers, CatBrat. PENEJANE
so in a 3ft tank would 2 inches of sand be enough at the deepest point? I got a lot of drift wood today which is soaking and hoping to have a good looking tank by the end of it lol
